The role
I was a full-stack developer at Cambridge Analytica / SCL Group. For a stretch, I was the only person on the web team, which meant I owned everything from frontend features to server configuration.
Numbers
- 10M+ records/day through the Pangea data matching platform
- Sub-second response times for real-time data queries
- 99.9% uptime on AWS + Kubernetes infrastructure
- 80% faster deployments through CI/CD automation
- 4 websites maintained solo (ca-political.com, ca-commercial.com, cambridgeanalytica.com, sclgroup.cc)
Web platforms
I maintained all four public-facing websites for the company's political consulting and commercial divisions. That covered the full stack: frontend features, backend APIs, server config, security, performance, and mobile responsiveness.
Pangea Data Platform
Built a data matching system using Scala, React, and Apache Drill on Hadoop. The platform ingested 10M+ records daily, ran real-time matching algorithms, and gave analysts sub-second query responses on large datasets.
